Weather: grey and overcast, cool day
Soup made by the kids: Pumpkin-Apple Soup
Handmade projects today:
- paper snakes
- seed saving activity (herbs and flowers), designing our own seed packages
- cloth doll making with embroidered faces and wool stuffed bodies (to be worked on over the course of many weeks)
- charcoal (light and shadow) tracings
- then charcoal sketches in our journals of different shaped leaves
- blueberry apple crisp for snack time
- the "human knot" game and working as a group to untangle ourselves
- circle time - thinking about what we are grateful for
- Sit Spot activity, to do active listening in a quiet setting on our own
- laughter and silliness during free time
