We spend at least an hour with the hens each day...tending, feeding, playing, holding, cleaning, topping up their water, bringing them dandelion and other wild greens, collecting eggs, and helping to integrate the new hens with the olders ones (everyone has pretty much accepted each other now)....
i love the white gal! beauties.
ReplyDeleteunfortunately by law was called by a neighbour (?) and showed up and we were forced to get rid of our girls. we found them a lovely home in erbsville in a wonderful coop at my uncles property, but after a few weeks there they unfortunately became dinner for a racoon or fox... so sad we miss our fresh eggs!
